Tattoo with InkLube — vibrant and hydrated
Tattoo without aftercare — dry and faded
Dry · Faded
Lubed

Same ink. Two timelines. Dry skin lets pigment scatter — colors look muddy and lines lose definition. InkLube draws natural plant-oil hydration deep into the skin where ink actually lives. Apply daily. Watch your work come back.

On The Bench

Tattoo aftercare cream, built for the bench.

InkLube was designed for the working end of the industry. The same jar is a session glide and take-home tattoo aftercare cream, so a shop stocks one product instead of two — and the client leaves with the exact thing the artist just used on them.

We are building the stockist list properly: no shop goes on this page until it is genuinely carrying it. If your artist should have it on the bench, send them our way. Shops can apply for wholesale in about two minutes, and working artists can join the pro team.

The Story

The Name.

We named it InkLube because that's what the artists called it.

Most tattoo aftercare is made by people who don't get tattooed. Smells like a hospital, feels like petroleum, looks like medicine. The wellness brands swung the other way — $40 jars, dermatologist quotes, vibes. Both miss the room.

We made it official.

Ingredients

The Formula.

Thirteen ingredients. That's it.

Five certified organic. Plant butters, seed oils, and the kind of botanicals real skin actually recognizes. No petroleum. No fragrance. No mineral oil. No synthetics. Nothing your skin has to fight.

Read the full INCI →
Mango ButterOrganic · Mangifera Indica
Lightweight plant butter rich in fatty acids. Absorbs fast, supports skin during the critical first two weeks.
Shea ButterOrganic · Butyrospermum Parkii
Long-chain fatty acids that absorb deep instead of sealing skin shut. The backbone of the formula.
Hemp ButterOrganic · Cannabis Sativa
Omega-rich and naturally calming to fresh ink. One of the best plant butters for tattooed skin.
Coconut OilOrganic · Cocos Nucifera
Naturally antimicrobial without being antibacterial — supports the skin's own microbiome.
BeeswaxOrganic · Cera Alba
A breathable barrier. Locks moisture in without choking out the skin like petroleum does.
Jojoba OilSimmondsia Chinensis
Closest plant oil to human sebum. Skin recognizes it. Skin uses it. Doesn't clog.
Aloe VeraAloe Barbadensis
Soothes irritation and adds water to the formula. The plant your grandma used for a reason.

Worth reading before you buy any aftercare: the FDA fact sheet on tattoos and permanent makeup covers what is actually known about tattoo inks, the reactions worth taking seriously, and why the ingredient list on the jar matters more than the marketing on the front of it.

What a good tattoo aftercare cream has to do is unglamorous: stay put, absorb rather than seal, and contain nothing that irritates skin already recovering from a needle. That is the whole brief. A tattoo aftercare cream built around petrolatum fails the second test, and one built around fragrance fails the third, which is why InkLube is built from thirteen plant ingredients and prints all of them on the jar.
