Common mistakes
Where people get the maths wrong when they build their own tattoo aftercare bundle.
The single most common error is buying one small jar for a large piece. A forearm band and a full sleeve are not the same job — the sleeve is several times the surface area and runs across multiple sittings, so it burns through product at a rate people never estimate correctly on the day they book. Running out on day twelve of a twenty-eight day heal is how most heals go wrong, because the replacement is whatever is in the bathroom cabinet.
The second is buying only a large jar and leaving it at home. A tattoo that gets treated twice a day at home but ignored across a nine-hour shift is a tattoo that spends most of its waking hours dry.
